At UserTesting, Kilimanjaro spearheaded the creation of their first technology partnerships program and public API platform. Starting from a blank slate, he defined strategy, built internal alignment, and executed on both product and business fronts. He led cross-functional teams across engineering, product marketing, and sales to launch over 10 integrations with industry-leading platforms including Slack, Trello, Adobe XD, Miro, Qualtrics, Atlassian, and behavioral analytics providers like Quantum Metric and ContentSquare. By framing partnerships as a strategic growth lever, he transformed the partner ecosystem into a referral engine, creating new distribution channels and enhancing the value proposition of UserTesting’s core platform.
Kilimanjaro also led a major overhaul of UserTesting’s platform to improve usability, performance, and customer satisfaction. He partnered with design, engineering, and research teams to re-architect the platform’s information structure, streamline navigation, and optimize workflows for enterprise users by driving technical and design improvements including reducing page load times, simplifying task flows, and improving accessibility elevating the overall user experience. These efforts translated into stronger customer engagement, higher discovery and adoption of new features, and a measurable improvement in Net Promoter Score (NPS), reinforcing UserTesting’s position as a market leader in digital experience insights.
I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with Kilimanjaro as his partnerships counterpart at Fuel Cycle, where we were building a new strategic partnership between our companies (Fuel Cycle and UserTesting). What made working with Kilimanjaro especially exciting was his proactivity to collaborate on a regular basis, and his willingness to transparently brainstorm together.
He is is not only a true partnership collaborator, but he’s an excellent organizer and communicator that always keeps things moving efficiently. I highly recommend partnering with any company that Kilimanjaro is leading partnership on.
Kili knows how to get anything done! From high level vision and strategy to production-level details, Kili is on it. He’s smart and funny. He knows when to collaborate and when to move forward. In other words, consider yourself lucky if you get to work with him!
Kilimanjaro is a multidisciplinary and detail-detail oriented product manager. When he began working with MindBlown Labs, we had virtually no processes in place to manage our development cycles. He defined new processes that were suitable for our team size and composition. Moreover, he implemented these processes and was instrumental in leading the MBL team during a critical product release. Working with Kilimanjaro has fundamentally changed the way we work together as a team.
We were very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with him.
